Who is responsible for your data
Kinetic Axis Digital is responsible for the personal information you provide when you contact us through this website or our stated contact channels. For privacy questions or requests concerning your information, email hello@kineticaxisdigital.com.
Information we collect
When you send an enquiry, we receive the information you enter: your name, email address, optional organisation name, type of project and message. Please avoid submitting sensitive personal information in the message field.
If you choose the optional WhatsApp contact link, we receive the phone number and any message you send us. WhatsApp (operated by Meta) is a separate third-party service and handles your use of WhatsApp under its own privacy terms. You can contact us by email or this website’s enquiry form instead.
Our hosting provider may also process necessary technical information, such as IP address, request time, browser details and security logs. Our contact endpoint temporarily uses IP information in memory to limit spam; it does not create a public profile.
Why we use it and legal basis
- Responding to enquiries and discussing services: our legitimate interests in communicating with prospective clients, or taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (as applicable).
- Security and preventing misuse: our legitimate interests in maintaining the security and availability of this website.
- Legal and record-keeping duties: compliance with applicable legal obligations where relevant.
We do not add contact form submissions to a marketing mailing list simply because you contacted us. If we offer a newsletter later, we will provide an appropriate choice and update this notice.
Who receives your information
Authorised people working for Kinetic Axis Digital may read and respond to enquiries. We use hosting and email service providers to receive and deliver messages; those suppliers may process the necessary technical and message data under their arrangements with us. We do not sell enquiry data.
Any material international transfer needs to be assessed against the applicable UK data-protection rules and the safeguards provided by the relevant supplier.
How long we keep information
We retain enquiries for as long as reasonably needed to reply, discuss a potential project, manage any resulting working relationship and meet any applicable record-keeping duties. We review older enquiries and delete personal information when it is no longer needed, unless a legal requirement applies. Technical and security logs follow the retention arrangements of the website hosting service.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction or deletion of personal data, restriction of its use, object to certain processing, or request portability where applicable. Some rights are subject to exemptions. Contact hello@kineticaxisdigital.com to make a request.
You can also raise concerns with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO complaints).
